"Finally a guide for the wine-timid! This is a great primer for someone like me; the rare wine drinker married a wine snob and into a family in the Napa Valley - many of whom are in the wine business.I have no desire to compete with their knowledge, but by exposure to great wines over the last few years I'm on my own wine journey and greatly appreciate Ms Heart's gentle tutelage."  Amazon Reviewer: DD213q

Bio

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I graduated from college with a degree in business administration and I hold a BSBA degree with a management emphasis.  My most eventful job was apartment management for 352 units.  I am a Colorado gal born and raised.  I love the low bug population, but I've never gotten used the winter temperatures. I guess it is a fair trade, though.

I've volunteered for a cat shelter, enjoy scrapbooking and card making, photography, and painting in watercolor and acrylic.  I inherited a love for reading from her mother and grandmother and grew up talking about books at the dinner table.

I'm a wine enthusiast on my personal wine journey who found most books on wine either too textbook, too long, or packed with information I don't need or want to know.  Eventually I was collecting the information that I found pertinent to enjoying wine without a degree in viticulture.  I thought others might like to have the short cut to the core material as well.

I have taken the same quick and easy format and have delved into other food and beverage areas with beer and upcoming beer, coffee, tea, chocolate and beyond.

I also write cozy mysteries under the pen name Avery Daniels at  https://avery-daniels.com/ and thrillers as C.G. Abbot at  https://cgabbot.yolasite.com/
